I just found out about Ms. Sharon passing. She was a very sweet lady. Praying for all the family

I met Mrs Gilcrest at woodforest bank 3 years ago and every time we bump in to each other we would talk for an hour no matter what location. Very sweet soul...she is in the presence of God thank you Jesus

Ms. Gilchrist, what a beautiful soul and spirit! I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Gilchrist while her son Terrance was enrolled in Adult Education here in Dillon, S.C. Ms. Gilchrist was such a welcome breath of fresh air. We spent countless conversations talking about her love for her children and family. She was so excited about writing a book about her life experiences. While Terrance was in class, she would remain quietly at a table working on that book. My family and I felt as though Ms. Sharon and Terrance were our family. During Thanksgiving 2018, Ms. Sharon and Terrance spent that time fellowshipping with our family. We had a wonderful time praying, singing, eating and playing games. I truly enjoyed having them with us during that Thanksgiving. I thank God for placing Ms. Gilchrist and Terrance in my life. Mom, we are grateful to God for loaning you to us, and while we were still enjoying you He called you back home. We are able to go on because we know that your pain is over and you are at rest. But we still miss you all the same. Mom, even in death you blessed so much because we came to know what a lovely and wonderful woman you were by the friends who condoled with us. All of us miss you. We are only beginning to heal now after your death, and sweet memories of you will help us adjust to life without you. We miss you mom.

Our friendship goes back more than 40 years. We were always the same, good friends. The memories are too numerous. Maybe one day we can reminisce. Hold tight to God's hand and love and care for each other.
