Ms. Brenda was smart and funny, tough and hardworking, and joyful with a heart that was bigger than she was! She made every day at Dillon Middle School better for everyone she came in contact with and was especially loved by the teachers on the 8th grade hall. I will miss our conversations, her kindness, and her smile. I admired her, respected her, and loved her. I send my deepest sympathy to her family at this time and want them to know how many lives Ms. Brenda touched! Melinda Brown

I extend my deepest condolences to the family of my dear Brenda. During the years of my service at Dillon High School, she always smiled so genuinely and always checked on me the many late evenings I worked in my classroom. She was a faithful friend who called me sister. I will miss our calls to each other, yet I, as the family, remain encouraged to know that she is resting in a better home that is free from pain. Let us rejoice in our belief that she has arrived at her Heavenly destination. Family, be resolved to live from this day forth to travel the rest of this journey to have the same ticket to join her in the Heavenly home that has been prepared. My prayers are with you during your time of bereavement.
