Mr. Kimberly Pearson (65) passed on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at his residence in Dillon, SC.
Service for Mr. Kimberly Pearson will be Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 4:00PM at Samuel Bartell Memorial Chapel. (Newtown)
Burial will follow at Florence National Cemetery on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 1:00PM.
Mr. Kimberley Pearson obituary reads as follows:
Mr. Kimberly Pearson was born July 14, 1958 to Arthur Daniel Pearson and Rose Ann Carothers in Union City, Tennessee at Union County General Hospital. Mr. Pearson, as many called him, was a captain in the United States Army USAR, Air Defense, assigned to the 507th USAD, he served our country for 19 years. Mr. Pearson was a proud veteran and loved this country.
After completing high school at Union City High School, Mr. Pearson obtained his bachelor's degree in the area of social work at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He then settled in Dillon, SC., where he married Vera Harley of Dillon, South Carolina, there he developed many friends (Mr. Kendall Fleetwood and Susan Elliott) and many others. Serving 30 years with the company. Mr. Pearson came from a large family which he was the youngest. His siblings includes Joseph Pearson, Rosetta King, Robert Lee Caruthers, Jeff Lee Pearson, Terry Pearson. He was preceded in death by mother, father, brothers; Jospeh, Jefford-Lee and Robert Lee.
Mr. Pearson was a loving and compassionate father. He leaves behind his wife Vera Pearson, Daughters; Ariel Pearson, Erica Pearson - Gee (Javalton), Kimanee Pearson - Parker and Tanya Hairston, Sons; Kymdorae Pearson, Tyrone Pearson, Timothy Pearson (Susana), Grandchildren; Aaliyah Neloms, Justice Pearson, Savannah and Zoe (Timothy), Nakhila, Nyoman and Nevin Parker (Kimanee), Amir, Gabriel and Regina (Erica), Damien, Dorian, and Terrell Hairston (Tanja). Mr. Pearson had a host of nephews, nieces, five great grand children, cousins and friends.
This loving father's principles were built on hard work and great character. He was responsible man that loved his family and his country.
Just wanted to let the family of Mr. Kim Pearson know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Pearson was a one of kind man. Always down to earth with that big beautiful smile and that hearty laughter of his! Again, my condolences!
