Obituary For Darrell Franklin Honea

Mr. Darrell Honea, 67, of Winterville, GA was born on February 4, 1957 and passed away on October 19, 2024.

Darrell is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rita Faye Honea, his children Leslie Michelle Honea, Jesse Darrell Honea, John Matthew Honea, Tiffany Gabrielle Honea and step-children David Smith, Heather Smith and Jessica Auge, along with many grandchildren, and his mother Frances Deep, sisters Donna Shelly and Dana Shelly, and brother Dale Honea.

Darrell is preceded in death by his father John Daniel Honea, his sister Denise Honea, brother John Daniel Honea, and his son Jeremiah Brandon Honea.

Darrell was dedicated to supporting the mission of his congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Winterville.

His favorite scripture was from the book of Revelation, Chapter 21, verses 3 and 4: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
