To know Nicole was to know life itself. She possessed an insatiable desire to learn and understand everything around her, approaching the world with an open heart and a zest for living that was truly inspiring. A proud graduate of Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics, Nicole deeply valued education and the strength of community. Her passion for knowledge led her to achieve her Licensed Practical Nursing certificate from Lincoln Technical Institute and later earn a Master’s in Public Health from Touro University. She was eagerly looking forward to furthering her career as a physician’s assistant, always striving to make a difference in the lives of others.
Nicole’s talents were many, and she was widely known for her incredible skills as a beautician, particularly in braiding. She carried herself with a confidence that radiated both inner and outer beauty, touching the lives of those around her with kindness and grace.
Nicole Kelly Colvin (February 1, 1983 - January 13, 2025) born at Cumberland Hospital, was a beautiful and vibrant soul whose presence brought light and warmth to all who knew her. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Anna Colvin, and leaves behind a legacy of love, curiosity, and resilience.
A true Harlem girl at heart, Nicole embodied the spirit and vibrancy of the neighborhood she loved so dearly.
