Obituary For Annie Mae Bell

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, Annie Mae Davis Bell entered the world on May 14, 1920, in Pickens, South Carolina, born to John Davis and Eunice Blake Davis. Raised alongside her younger brother John, they were cared for by their aunt and uncle in Pickens. Overcoming challenges, Annie Mae eventually sought refuge in Bartow, Florida, where she resided with another set of relatives. It was there that her uncle introduced her to her future husband, Adam Bell Sr. Annie Mae and Adam exchanged vows on October 13, 1943, and set out for a new life in New York City, where they created their family with the birth of two sons, Adam Jr., and Stanley Lee.
