Obituary For Elaine Jackson

Elaine Jackson of Henderson, NC passed away peacefully on June 24, 2023, at the age of 83. Elaine was born on October 5, 1939 in Rocky Mount, NC to George Kelly Bell and Lois McGahee Bell. Elaine was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She adored spending time with her family and taking rides on her boat at the lake. Elaine was predeceased by her parents.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Susan Harvey (Randy) of Saint Clair Shores, MI; son, Wade N. Jackson III of Henderson, NC; grandchildren Christina Harvey of Saint Clair Shores, MI, Jason Harvey of Saint Clair Shores, MI; Melissa Jackson Carroll (Kenneth) of Timberlake, NC; Larry Jackson of Henderson, NC, and great-grandchildren, Landon and London Carroll. Elaine is also survived by her sister Myrna Kay Robinson of Apex, NC, and two nieces.

Elaine worked at Bell South until she retired in 2001. After retiring, she enjoyed sewing and crafting, but her passion and knack for gardening were unmatched.

A Celebration of LIfe will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 @ 2pm at the Satterwhite Point Community Building.
