Obituary For Candace L. Copeland Clements
Candace L. Copeland Clements, 60, passed away on Friday, March 14th 2025 at Duke Hospital.
She was born and raised in Durham County and was the daughter of Bobby and Janelle Copeland. She graduated from Northern High School and received her Cosmetology Degree. She was also very well known in the service industry for 30+ years.
Mrs. Clements is survived by her mother; Janelle Copeland, son; Kyle Clements (Abbe), former husband (Kirk) sister; Dee Huffman, brother; Duane Copeland (Terri) sister; Jana (Ricky) grandson; Kash, nieces; Wendy, Paige (Harrison) Jade (Aaron) Casey, and Brooke. Nephew; Marc, Great niece Avery. Great nephews; Carter, Easton, Tucker, Baylor, and Truitt. Her long time partner Anthony Jones.
She is preceded in death by her father; Bobby Copeland, a brother-in-law Billy Huffman, Aunt Cheryl Grinstead and honorary son Michael Hammond.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 22nd at 1:00 at Mount Tabor Church, 4304 Bahama Road, Rougemont,NC 27572.

Dearest family of candy , you had a one in a million in sweet Candy . I went to school with candy and we remained friends 40 plus years. We played softball together too. She was a great athlete. She was always 100 percent in with something. She also loved 100 percent . She loved her mama more than anything and dear sweet kash.
