Obituary For Arnulfo Garcia

Arnulfo “Arnold” Garcia age 66 of Roxboro, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by his daughters on Friday August 9, 2024, following a short battle with cancer.

He is survived by his three daughters, Angela, Monica and Amanda. His three sisters, Sylvia, Lilly, Rosalinda and one brother Roy Lee. His grandchildren, Damian, Gavin, Isabella, Jacob, Julia, Brianna, and Grey. 11 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews.

Arnold was born in Hart, Michigan and raised in Galveston Island, Texas. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Raul and Raquel Garcia, two brothers, Raul Jr, and Rudy Garcia, and his brother-in-law David Miranda. He was employed for many years by J.W. Kelso and was considered a master Piledriver. He took great pride in his daughters, even when times were tough. His three girls were the most beautiful and smartest girls in the world to him. He instilled grit, strength, determination, compassion and confidence in his girls. He was fun, loving and always had a joke. He will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will hold a private memorial in the coming weeks to celebrate his life with close family and friends.

Our Dad has taught us to make light out of the toughest of times. While he may be gone, his unique sense of humor will carry on…. thanks to his soon to be repurposed prosthetic legs that we plan to make lamps and flower planter.
