Ms. Linda ‘’Lynne'' Almond 69, of Dothan Alabama entered into eternal rest on Saturday May 11, 2024.

Funeral Services for Ms. Linda ''Lynne'' 69, of Dothan Alabama will be held Sunday May 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holly Grove Baptist Church, Unadilla GA. Interment in Vienna City Cemetery Vienna, GA.

Lynne Almond was a shininglight, born in Orlando, Florida,on August 29, 1954, to Joyce
Jones and William Simmons.She pursued her education atAugusta Technical College,
showcasing her commitment togrowth. Her bright smile and contagious laughter brought
joy to those around her. Lynnehad a passion for fashion and exploring new things, but her greatest love was for Jesus Christ and her family, both blood and chosen. She was an inspiration to all who knew
her and her absence will be deeply felt.

She leaves to mourn: her children, Jawana White
(Ansenio), Tamyra Almond, and Tameka Almond;
grandchildren, Racquel Durham (Richard), Ira Israel (Tsifira), Matravius Almond (Kayla), Reivondez Almond (Madison), Tamia Almond, and DeSilas Almond (April); maternal siblings, Allison Baylis, Debra Collins (David), Edna Wright (Anthony), and DaWanda Davis; paternal siblings, Johnny Clark, Valerie Simmons-McClain(Leon), Denise Depolis, and Rhani Simmons; siblings-in-love, Doris, Randall (Valarie), Frankie Lee (Barbara), Eddie Clyde (Sheila), Debra (Carlton), and George; nephew she raised as
a son, Garland White (Patricia); lifelong friend, Willie Rainey; devoted friends, Mary Mason and Daisy Murray; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.

My condolences to Lynne's family. She was full of color and spunk in my life, A wise woman not afraid to say how she felt when she felt it, and even if I didn't like it or want to hear it. I admired this none the less because an honest person is a rare thing. She made me feel like family I didn't have. I can only hope God sends her to watch over me as a guardian Angel.
