Obituary For Arsenio Rollins

Funeral services for Mr. Arsenio "Tavi" Rollins, 35, of 425 Crescent Drive Allendale, South Carolina will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Beulah Baptist Church with Reverend Bernice Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the Hayes Cemetery.

Arsenio Octavia Rollins was born on August 21, 1984, the beloved son of Ida Smoaks Ferguson and the late Henry James Rollins. Arsenio pursued his education in the public schools of Allendale, South Carolina.

“Tavi” as he was affectionately called, will be remembered for the love he showed his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father Henry Rollins; maternal grandparents: Louise and Joseph Smoaks, Sr.; paternal grandparents: Delilah and Howard Rollins, Sr.; aunt, Christine Smoaks Rogers; and uncle Joseph Smoaks, Jr.

God saw fit to call him home on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.

Tavi leaves to cherish his loving memories, his mother, Ida Ferguson; four children: Amariyna Rollins, Jamir Rollins, Jahmell Rollins and Harmoni Ramos; nine siblings: Siteaka (Brandon) Rollins-Badger, Kimberly Garvin, Bianca Smoaks, Karelle (Lectoria) Hicks, Jovon (Sheanettea) Rice, Donique (Sherena) Hicks, Antron (Neicey) Garvin, Shanique Rice, and Jamel Garrett; two step-brothers: Justin Sanders and Terell Ruth; three aunts: Izetta (Marion) Albany, Edna (Mitchell) Badger and Bert Killkelly; three uncles: Ernest (LaKeisha) Smoaks, Sr., Leaudra Smoaks, and Leroy (Shirley) Priester; two great aunts: Minnie Mae Priester and Emma Dickson; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sympathizing friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Friends may call at the residence of his sister, Siteaka Rollins Badger at 13626-SC Hwy 64 Lot #27 Barnwell, SC or at the funeral home.
