Today,9.5.2022, would have been your 90th birthday. I was looking forward to our birthday chat. I only learned a week ago from your brother's phone call that you had passed away. The 35 yrs I knew you have flown. Sorry health issues have prevented in person meetings. You always think a loved one will be there. People would think you had a hard shell but you were really a softy. You were well and widely loved. All of us will have to try to cope without you. Anne

Remembering the life of a dear friend who touched the lives of others through the nursing care she gave and the scrumptious dishes she cooked and shared. Hilda was a great cook. She was a very caring and sharing person who was always willing to help .On a more personal note she was responsible for me(Buretta) getting a job as a public health nurse. She called her friend, Essie Rowser,a supervisor at the Dekalb County Board of Health and got me an interview for the job. I got the job which I held, enjoyed and retired after thirty years. Hilda was the angel who God put in my life. May she rest with God. Love Buretta & Shep
