Our Beloved Uncle Andre "Bogie"

A mighty oak has fallen, Leaving a void no one can fill. Our dearest Uncle Andre, "Bogie" aka "Sha-Tee" we cherish still.

A born leader he was, With a voice that could motivate all. His wisdom and humor we recall, Even as we mourn his fall.

Sharp as ever in his fine attire, His melodious voice could set souls on fire. An inspiring teacher and role model was he, Guiding others to be the best they could be.

We all sought his counsel and wit, Missing his warmth and care a bit, As we held our regular heart to heart talks, That now leave us here in shock.

But though he's moved to greater heights, His spirit in our hearts still ignites, To follow the trail that he blazed, As we remember him always.

Rest in peace, our dearest Uncle Andre, "Bogie" aka "Sha-Tee", you will be sorely missed, that's for sure. But the seeds you planted will still bear fruit, Your legacy in our lives shall endure.

Andre aka Bogie, you will be missed brother-in-law. Love you always. You were my big brother and you were and always will be an asset to the family.

Andre has been my brother-in-law for 39 years and I will miss him dearly. He was such a caring, devoted and family oriented man and he meant so much to our family. Forever in our hearts Andre a/k/a Bogie!!! Zelda Gilzeane
