Auntie mary Magee was a awesome woman of God. The best cousin. I was so shocked to hear this news. I didn't want to believe what I was reading I grew up in her house from the time she lived on Bain Street in Durant. I have memories of coming to her house and leaving with cokes from when Tom Magee worked for coke-cola. He would bring home cases of drinks. Memories of when my dad built an addition to her house on Bain street. All last week I found myself sing several songs of her" show me the way lord' This old building keep on leaning 'I made it'. Enjoy your singing in heaven. You inspired me to keep singing as well as my own mom

Mrs Mary Mcgee was a blessed woman of God. Her death leaves a void that will never be filled. My wife and I enjoyed her presence so many times over three decades, her ministry and public service is a testament of a Godly life. We shall forever remember the love and support she showed us. From "Show me the way" to " Ride out the Storm," there are great memories of Missionary McGee singing and teaching. For at least two years I was blessed every Friday to hear her teach the Sunday School lesson on the phone with "Faithful Friday." Oh, how I will miss hearing her voice. "May your work speak for you?" As a kid I listened to you sing and as I got older in my music career I can't count the funerals I've played for you at! You were the true song bird of the south and you will truly be missed.
