Mary Alice Salters Sullivan, 76, peacefully entered into eternal rest on November 9, 2019. Mrs. Sullivan was the daughter of the late Garfield Mardell Sartor and Essie Scurry Salters. She was the widow of Raymond Sullivan.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her daughter, Annette Salters Littlejohn of Spartanburg, SC; her son, Delton “Jack” Salters of Spartanburg, SC; her siblings, John “Shorty” Sartor and Melba (Jessie) Kerns both Spartanburg, SC; her five granddaughters; her grandson; her fifteen great-grandchildren; her five great-great grandchildren; her special family friend, Dorothy Payden Lavalais; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Mary was preceded in death by: her brothers, Grover Cleveland Salters, Sr., George Salters and Henry Lee Salters; and one sister; Essie Black.

A Celebration of the Life of Mary Alice Salters Sullivan will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Pastor Tommy E. Quick will officiate. Burial will be in the Cemetery St. Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home 132 Westover Drive, Spartanburg, SC.
