Mrs. Jeannie Owens Little, 63, of Kingsland, GA departed this life Monday, September 23, 2019 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 27, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Jones Grove Baptist Church and cemetery, Louisville, GA. Mrs. Little was a native of Jefferson County, born to the late Cassie B. Owens and Mattie Ree Mack Fields. She joined the Jones Grove Baptist Church at an early age and remained there serving in the choir, Director of the Youth Department and the Kitchen Committee. Jeannie was a 1974 graduate of Louisville High and worked at Delilah Manufacturing for over 25 years. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Rodney M. Little, Kingsland, GA; daughters, Sheila Owens Ellis, Marietta, GA, Shikara Scott Smith, Sandersville, GA; step sons, Angelo Allen, Augusta, GA, Kiyata Little, Marietta, GA; step siblings, Dorothy Johnson, Robert Fields, Sr., Tom Fields, Sr., Larry Fields, Sr., Ronnie Fields, Louisville, GA, Lonnie Fields, Detroit, MI; her grandchildren, Ty’Keyah Batts, Yasmine Walden, Kadarius Scott, Terrence Williams, Ah’Niya Smith, Anzayviah Allen, Anzakhia Allen, Angelo Allen, Anzarriah Allen, Anzearah Allen, Emani Little and Kayla Lawrence; cousins including two that she thought were her brothers, Tommie (April) Mack, Louisville, GA and David (Elaine) Mack, Ft. St. Lucie, FL; nieces and nephews including Kysha Mack, Atlanta, GA and Joy Mack, Augusta, GA; six Hen sisters, Godchildren, other nieces, nephews and other cousins and friends.
