She was preceded in death by two daughters Janice Thomas and Windell Williams; two sisters, Betty Williams and Ernestina Smith and one brother, Robert Hammond Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, a loving and devoted daughter Deborah Williams, Ralph Thomas (Lavern), Brenda Carter (Danny), Richard Williams (Tammy), Denicia Walker (Calvin) and Jenette Dennis; grandchildren Leon, Deon, Tremane, Raberih, Joshua, Danny, Tavarus, Xavier, James Jr., Taccara, Richard Jr., Antwan, Demetrius, Brianna, Jaquan, Anthony, and Jaylen; 19 great grandchildren; loving sister Christine Thomas; aunt Hattie King; special friends Janice Sapp, Willie Thomas, Stephanie Sapp and Sherrie Carter and a host of nieces nephews cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 7 at 1:00 P.M. at Grace Victory Church Rev. Robert Daniels is the pastor and Rev. Charles Vinson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pallbearer Cemetery.
