The Obituary Ms. Betty Bothwell was born May 10, 1957 in St. Clair County to the late Mr. Leonard and Willie Mae Bothwell. She departed this life on July 27, 2019 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama.
Betty attended church services at Abundant Life Church in Gadsden, Alabama.
Betty was dearly loved in the community and was best known for her charismatic ways. She was a loving person that enjoyed cooking and caring for others. She was well known for her hospitality. She would welcome you into her home and encouraged you to make it your own. She always managed to make others laugh because of her outgoing personality.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Leonard and Willie Mae Bothwell, daughter; Willie Mae Bothwell, sister; Hazel Looney and brother; Henry Bothwell.
She leaves to cherish her memories two loving daughters; Monica Bothwell and Aleatha Bothwell, both of Gadsden, AL, one step-daughter, Leshonda Reeves, Gadsden, AL, two grand-children; Malik Bothwell and McKenzie Bothwell, both of Gadsden, AL, four sisters; Mary Evans, Carolyn Polk, Dorothy (Curtis) Phillips, all of Ashville, Al, Wanda Looney, Gadsden, AL, five brothers; Leonard Bothwell Jr., Leon (Florence) Bothwell, both of Ashville, AL, Clarence (Bridget) Bothwell, Oscar (Beverly) Bothwell, both of Oneonta, AL, Edward Bothwell, Gadsden, AL. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Funeral Services will Be on Saturday August 3rd, 2019 at the Greater Grace Church Ashville. Bishop Terry A. Jones officiating Burial to follow in Ashville Cemetery. Public Visitation will be on Friday August 2nd From 1-6P.M. In the Funeral Home Chapel
