Obituary For Johnnie Lee Washington, Sr.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., Westhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 3580 Robinson Street, Jackson, MS 39209 with burial in Welcome Church Cemetery in Utica, MS.

Johnnie Lee Washington, Sr. was born March 25, 1953 in Utica, MS to the parents of the late Oliver and Ellen Dixon Washington.

Johnnie went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2019.

Johnnie attended Mixon Elementary, Utica Consolidated High School, he also worked for many years at Clearly Height in Florence, MS.

He was preceded in death by Betty Jean Washington Frazier, Louis Washington and James Earl Washington.

Johnnie leaves to cherish his memories; two daughters, Juanita Mays, Paris Washington both of Jackson, MS; two sons; Johnnie Lee Washington, Jr. Kevin Washington and one stepson; Marcell Hayes all of Jackson, MS; two sisters; Stella Washington, Catherine Cooper both of Jackson, MS; four aunts; Julia Manning, (Arthur) of Utica, MS Ruby Lee, Alberta, Lucille all of Chicago, IL; seven grandchildren, two great grand and a host of nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
