Obituary For Grady Earl Mosley

Brother Grady Mosley, a native of Monroeville, Alabama and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama was born January 14, 1938. He exchanged life for eternity on November 9, 2018. He professed a strong belief in God at an early age. He joined the Good Hope Baptist Church in Monroeville, Alabama. He later united with Greater Macedonia Baptist Church where he served as trustee board member and a member of the Male Chorus.

Brother Grady Mosley was a master brick mason. He was well respected in his area of expertise. He was owner and operator of Mosley Construction and Contractor company for 50 years. Because of his skills and willingness to share his knowledge many young men in the Mobile, Alabama and surrounding areas began their careers as brick masons under his guidance. As a result of their training many ventured out into successful careers. Many of the homes and businesses were built under the Mosley Construction Company. The Legendary Mosley Construction and Contractor Company will live on through the operation of his sons.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Liston and Mrs. Bessie Mosley; brothers: Norman Sr., Liston, Jr., L.C. Mosley; sisters: Ethel Banks, Elizabeth Tunstall, Geneva Fairly, Bessie Dixon and Mary C. Leslie.

He is survived by his children Gloria (Marie) Mosley, Mellisa Mosley both of Atlanta, Georgia. Three sons: Timothy Mosley, Carl (Monique) Mosley and LaMarcus McCreary all of Mobile, Alabama; 16 grandchildren: Octavia, Kenricka, Carlton, JanMike (Cortez), Travian, Travion, Danielle, Timya,Torianna, Michael, Karmina, Timothy,Jr. Kaleb, Carl, Jr., Carzvier and Jaylen; 14 great grandchildren, two devoted, Xavier Nicholas and Alyse Nicholas; Brother, Gradell Mosley of Detroit, MI; 3 sisters: Ora Dee Pickett, Opal (Floyd) Holmes of Pensacola, Florida, Dorothy Bennett of Theodore, Alabama, and brother-in-law, Juderson Leslie, Sr. and a host of nieces and nephews two devoted Joseph Dixon, Meztista Scott, and many more relatives and friends.
