Christine Burgins

Christine Burgins departed this life on April 6, 2025. She graduated from Rule High School and worked at McDonalds for numerous years. She was a member of Open Doors Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Robert Burgins, Annie Davis, and Kathy (Greg) Harris Griffie; grandmother, Mattie Carson; and nephew, Henry Burgins.

She leaves to cherish her memory children: Nikos Burgins, LaKrystle Goss (Kierra), Ashley Goss, and Tequila Burgins; her siblings: Kenneth Howard Burgins, Christopher Burgins, Tim Davis, and Angela Davis; grandchildren: Ali’yanna Ligon, Lynnasia Ligon, Mae’lani Goss, Nautica Harris, Deyomi Harris, and Ja’Vaughni Starks; great-grandchildren: Zyair Harris, A’siyah Harris, and Zachriah Harris; uncles: Frank Carson and LD Muckle; aunts: Pearly May Muckle and Emma Blair; nieces and nephews: Barin Harris, Tisha Harris, Shara Johnson, Minette Bolden, Jeverick Burgins, Ticka Burgins, Travis Burgins, and Jamar Burgins; and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 11-12:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:00 p.m. at Open Door Church where Pastor Steve Simpson will be officiating.

The final resting place will be held at the Mt. Olive Cemetery immediately following the service. A dove release will conclude in her honor.
