Delmar Ray Caldwell passed away on March 24, 2025, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical. He was born on October 1, 1948, in High Point, NC, son of the late John W. Caldwell and Magnolia Carter Caldwell. He was also preceded in death by five siblings, Mary E. Parson, Peggy Caldwell, Walt Caldwell, Carl Caldwell, and Harold Caldwell, and three sisters-in-law, Margaret Caldwell, Gladys Caldwell, and Costella Caldwell.

Delmar grew up in High Point and attended High Point City Schools. He worked for Ultra Coating in High Point up until his passing. Delmar had a love for fine cars.

He lives to cherish his memories, his children, Timothy Caldwell of Thomasville, NC, Tracy Caldwell of High Point, NC, Chanda Collins of Durham, NC; seven grandchildren; his siblings, John Caldwell, Barbara Harris and Levord Caldwell all of High Point, NC; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 901 E. Kearns Avenue. High Point,
