TERESA RENE ADAMS PUGH was born June 29, 1970, in Moore County to Marion Shaw and William Thomas.

Rene graduated from Fuquay - Varina High School.

She was a faithful member of Saint Anna Freewill Baptist Church since early childhood. She served as a church secretary and was also a member of Saint Anna #2.

Rene was employed many years at ARS as a manager. She enjoyed many years of retirement before resuming work recently at UPS.

Rene had a passion for hair, make up, and vlogging. She was a true fashionista. Anything fashion she loved. One of her favorite hobbies was decorating, especially for Christmas. She loved her family and hosted Thanksgiving every year. She loved to dance and there was never a dull moment when she was around. Her smile brightened up any room that she walked in.

She was preceded in death by her son, Adrian Adams.

Rene leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Brian Adams (RaeMonique); daughter, Lameka Adams (Robert); son, Damarkus Adams (Shakira); mother, Joyce Shaw; father, William Thomas; paternal grandmother Cora Thomas; best friend/sister, Felicia Adams; sister, Monica Kelly; seventeen grandchildren, Honesty, Da’Niya (her Tudy), Knight, Harmony, Mo’riah, Aiden, Adriana, Azhane, Zoe, RyLee, Ryana, Kali, Kloe, Brianna, Nasir, Khalil, and Amarion; great-grandchildren, Taylen, Nova, and Symir; special uncle, William Adams (Glenda); aunt, Anni-bell Adams; special nieces and nephews, Keywanna, Demetrius, Precious, and Terrence; special cousins, Maurice Adams, Dot Davenport, and Antoine McCullers; special friend, La; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road in Raleigh, NC 27603.

Burial: Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:00 am at Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road in Garner, NC.

Family will be accepting visitors at 3721 Mechanicsville Run Lane in Raleigh, NC between the hours of 1:00 - 9:00 pm. Please be mindful of the family’s request.
