Wendell Wilkerson was born December 30, 1954 to the late June Stephens and Carrie Stewart of Washington Georgia. He transitioned into God's loving arms on March 15, 2025.

Wendell is survived by siblings George Stewart Jr. of Washington Georgia, Jeffrey (Michael Ann) Wilkerson of Athens Georgia, Joyce (Rev. Lemuel Billingsley) of Athens Georgia, Alfredia Stewart of Augusta Georgia, Dale Sanders of Washington Georgia, and Annette Sharon of Atlanta Georgia.

A host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Wendy Giles-Johnson of Detroit Michigan, father June Stephens and mother Carrie Stewart.
