She confessed Christ at an early age. She was dedicated and committed to the Raleigh Rescue Mission in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was a writer and published the book “The Storm is Over”. Sharry loved her family, and she loved to take pictures. You could not out-argue her about the bible because she studied every version of the bible and knew her scriptures.

She lived in Raleigh for years and decided to move back to her hometown to care for her mother; after caring for her mother, she took care of her brother Richard until his ending days. Sharry graduated Summa cum laude from Ohio Christian University for her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. She loved to read, and she loved her family. She took special care and dedication to her niece Shannon and “The boys.” If you heard her talk often, she would mention her girls and her boys, especially King. She only had one son who she loved so much and was so proud of all his accomplishments. Her grandgirls were her pride and joy. She took pride in being a grandmother to her sugars.

She is now united with her brothers, Carnel Spencer, Richard L. Spencer, and her sisters, Barbara Ann Spencer, and Kelly Tracy Spencer who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish “her sugar”, Sean Sextur Spencer, Indian Trail, NC and her niece, Shannon Spencer’Pickett (Travis) of Indian Trail, NC.
