His Funeral Service is 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 23, 2025, at J. G. Hayes Omega Center, 800 Cedar Street, New Bern, NC.

He is survived by his son, Ronald Simmons; daughter, Ronette Clark; brothers, Agartha Simmons, Terry Simmons, Jerome Davis; sisters, Sina Mumford, Stacy Simmons, Cynthia Simmons, Joyce Felton, Shelia Tripp; eight grandchildren.
