Charles Wayne White (1/1/1968-3/7/2025)

The sky weeps for the loss of Charles Wayne “Butter Bean” White, who passed away on March 7, 2025, in Abanda, AL. Charles was born on January 1, 1968, at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, as the first baby of the year.

He was an amazing husband, father, son, grandfather and brother. Anyone who knew Butter Bean would tell you how generous, caring, and downright funny he was. He was a shining light, and the world will be darker without him.

As a child, Charles drove his father, Bob McGuire, and his mother, Cynthia McGuire, crazy with his shenanigans. He was also an incredible big brother to Robert and sister Cindy. As he grew, Charles found the love of his life, Paula Bailor, in Florida. They met at Buds Chicken and Seafood where they worked, and the classic “boy picks on girl” scenario unfolded. Over time, they shared many laughs and memories, falling deeper in love. Soon after high school, on April 25, 1987, they exchanged their vows and began their life together.

Charles and Paula always dreamed of having a big family. Over the years, they welcomed their wonderful children: Ashley, Hunter, and Tiffany.

Charles worked tirelessly throughout his life, always doing his best to provide for his family in any way he could. He was an intelligent man who loved figuring out how things worked. In his free time, he enjoyed fixing cars and computers, and he cherished spending time with his family—watching shows, playing video games, and enjoying the outdoors.

Charles leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will be remembered for years to come. He was a loyal friend to many and a beacon of love to his community and family. While we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the amazing man he was and cherish the memories we have of him.

Charles is survived by his soulmate, Paula White, and his three loving children: Ashley Huseby, Hunter White, and Tiffany White Coffman. He is also survived by their spouses: Tom Huseby, Brianna White, and Kyle Coffman, and his wonderful grandson, Finley Huseby. He is also survived by his amazing father, Bob McGuire, and his loving siblings, Robert Gene McGuire and Cynthia Norberg, as well as his brother-in-law, Brian Norberg, and his aunt, Debbie Sebastian, who was like a second mother to him.

Charles’ mother, Cynthia McGuire, and his little sister, Katie McGuire, are awaiting him in heaven.

A memorial service to commemorate and celebrate Charles’ life will be held on March 30, 2025, in Abanda, AL. Family and friends are welcome to contact the family for more information.
