Danny Lee “Treetop” Burgess, 68, died Thursday, March 13, 2025 at MUSC, Florence, SC. He was born December 2, 1956 in Greeleyville, SC. A son of Annie Ceil McClary Burgess and the late Cleveland Burgess.

Public viewing will be held 2:00 til 6:00 PM Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr., Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, March 21, 2025 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Greeleyville, SC. Burial will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends beginning Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Carl and Hattie Nelson, 248 Holliman Rd., Greeleyville, SC from 2:00 PM til 8:00 PM daily.
