Mr. Eddie Gene Gentry passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at his residence in Shelby, NC. He was born October 18, 1951, in Cleveland County, NC, to the late G.H. and Bulah Mae Gentry.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m. A reception of friends will be held from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM on Friday. In addition, the family will receive family and friends at 406 Garland Place from Sunday, March 9, until Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. daily.
