Reverend Priscilla O. Nathan Wilson, 64, of Phenix City, AL passed on Monday, March 3, 2025 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. EST on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Nichols Chapel A.M.E. Church, located at 215 11th Ave, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Wendell Jones, Pastor and Rev. Isaac Hudson, Eulogist. Burial will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Public viewing will be from 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. EST, Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Priscilla Odette Nathan Wilson, 64, was born December 14, 1960, in Columbus, GA to the late Doris Cannon and the late James Nathan. She gained her wings on Monday, March 3, 2025, at St. Francis-Emory Healthcare in Columbus, GA.

She attended Elementary school in Muscogee County, Georgia. She retired from the Muscogee County School District in Columbus. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and catering, and even owned a restaurant.

Priscilla married her best friend and the love of her life, the late Billy (Pete) Wilson. She confessed her belief in Jesus Christ at an early age at Nichols Chapel AME Church in Phenix City, AL.

Rev. Wilson loved for family and friends to be around. She loved cooking and seeing her family enjoy each other. She often said she would love it if her family all lived on a big property together, creating a neighborhood of family.

Rev. Wilson accepted her calling to preach while a member of Nichols Chapel AME Church, Phenix City, AL. At that time, Bishop T. Larry Kirkland, the late Presiding Elder William M. Boddie and the late Rev. R. J. King were in service. Her first pastoral appointment was at Allen Memorial AME Church in Lafayette, AL. She then served on the clergy staff at Salem Chapel AME Church in Salem, AL. God called her back into pastoring at Pleasant Grove AME Church in Seale, AL. Over the years, she served on the Annual Conference Memorial and State of the Church Committee; she was also a member of Women in Ministry. While on the clergy staff at Nichols Chapel AME Church, she started the Golden Years Ministry.

She blessed others in the community by serving as a member of the Columbus Wellness Center Board and the Chaplain of the Women of Destiny Outreach Ministry.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wilson, her parents, Doris and Johnnie Cannon and James Nathan; daughter, Sharonda Nathan Miller; sister, Lisa Thompson; and brother-in-law, Robert Wilson.

Precious memories will be cherished by her children, Baschala (Tim) Streeter of Phenix City, AL, and Jeremy Wilson of York, PA; siblings, Michael Nathan and Catherine Cainion of Columbus, GA, Johnnie Wilson of Ellenwood, GA; two beautiful granddaughters, Jayla Williams and Kulture Streeter of Phenix City, AL; she also leaves a daughter in love, Wendy (Kenneth) Patterson of Columbus, GA; brother-in-law, Emanuel Thompson of Ellenwood, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
