Augusta, GA - Mr. Sammie L. Williams, 74, a native of Elko, SC, was a member of Tommy Ellison & The Five Singing Stars, which later became known as The Legendary Singing Stars, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Home Going Celebration for Mr. Sammie L. Williams, “Sam” will be conducted on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Ned Branch Baptist Church, 10620 Dunbarton Blvd., Barnwell, SC 29812, with Reverend Anthony F. Gadson officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025, 12:30 PM - 6:00 PM and Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM at Simmons Funeral Home of Williston, Inc. & Cremation Service.
