Mrs. Jacqueline Denise Talley

It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved daughter, mother and grandmother, Jacqueline “Jackie” Foster Talley. Jackie was born on January 7, 1963 and transitioned home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2025. She was born and raised in High Point, NC by the late Harold Lee Smith and Donzella “Dawn” Foster.

Jackie attended and graduated from T. Wingate Andrews High school in 1983. She worked various jobs including Christ the King daycare, Greater Hope Daniel Brooks boys and girls club and the Salvation Army. Jacqueline was loved by so many people. She never met a stranger and during her lifetime she became a best friend, mother figure and confidant to many individuals throughout High Point.

Jackie was the lovely wife to her husband Larry Talley for almost 30 years. They have 1 beautiful daughter Shatina Williams, son-in-law Cory Williams and two adorable grandchildren A’nayah Foster and Legacy Williams. Her girls were her world. Jackie was also the God mother to, Tamarius Howze, Janeashia Wall, & Mikayla Dickey and a few others she claims as her God children. Jackie was very loving and caring. She accepted everyone into her home and claimed them as her own.

If you knew Jackie, then you know she enjoyed shopping, gambling, planning and hosting holidays and special events. She enjoyed going to Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and the game room with her family.

Jackie was a woman who loved the Lord. She would listen to her gospel music, read her devotional, study her word said her daily prayers. She was a proud member of Living Water Baptist Church.

Jackie was preceded to death by her father Harold Lee Smith, grandmother Alberta Smith, father-in-law, George Talley, brothers, Travis Foster and Harold Dockery, a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and childhood best friends Lonnette Stricklin Johnson and Dicey “Kaye” Dye.

Jackie leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Larry Talley, her mother, Donzella Foster, daughter, Shatina (Cory) Williams, granddaughters, A’nayah Foster and Legacy Williams, sister, Kaylyn(Andrew) Thomas, brother Karrell “Todd” Foster adopted siblings, Danielle McBee, Takeisha “Sade” Foster, Laresa (Lamar) Burrell, LaTonya Foster. She also leaves a host of in-laws, godchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and others whose lives she touched with her kindness and grace.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Living Water Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro, NC. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
