Ashley LaCree Luckett, a Carthage, MS native, passed away on Saturday, February the 8th, 2025, in Canton, MS. Born on June 9, 1984, to proud parents Johnnie F. Stewart Luckett and the late Leroy Luckett, she was raised with a strong sense of morals and values.
In her youth, Ashley accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined Christian Union M.B. Church.
A 2002 honor graduate of Carthage High School, she was an active participant in the color guard, track & field and basketball teams, proudly wearing the number 52. She earned the respect and the admiration of her teachers, classmates, teammates and friends.
Ashley pursued higher education at East Central Community College, earning an Associate Degree in Computer Science. She was recognized for her bright contagious smile, exceptional sense of humor, and warm caring spirit. Her children were her greatest joy, and she loved them with all her heart.
With a strong work ethic, Ashley was employed at Nissan Manufacturing for 11 years, where she was highly regarded by her colleagues. She took great pride in her home and maintained a well-organized living space.
Ashley cherished her family and friends, living life with purpose and making a lasting impact on those around her.
Those who transitioned this life before her include her Father: Leroy Luckett; Paternal Grandparents: Ellie and LV Stokes Luckett; Paternal Aunts and Uncles: Bobby J. Henry (Marshall), Margaret Harris (Coleman), Bobby Luckett (Jenell) and Frank Luckett (Fannie).
Maternal Grandparents: Johnny and Inez Riley-Stewart, Maternal Uncles: Robert Stewart and James Stewart (Peggy).
Left to forever respect her memory are her Children: Kameron Luckett, Llandon Xavier Stephens and Anthony Cole Stephens. Her Mother: Johnnie Faye Luckett, Sisters: Cicely Stewart Nash and Cobbie Luckett Echols (Craig), significant other: Tierra Young, Nieces and Nephews: Brianna, Celeeka, Iyanna, Charvonte and Jakolby. Also, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Ashley's death leaves a void in the lives of those she touched, and her precious memory will remain forever.
