Jessie Wallace Barr Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Jessie Wallace Barr on January 23, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife Jaunita Barr, his sons Timothy Cromartie and Bernard Barr, his daughters Bernita Barr and Cassandra Davson and son-in-law Egan Davson, his sisters Minnie Dockery and Eva Barr Chandler

He was affectionally known to friends and family as “Joe”. Family was paramount to him. He and Juanita built a strong, beautiful family unit extending far and wide.

Joe was a retired Postal Worker, a decorated Vietnam Veteran and a Purple Heart Recipient.

Joe will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his warm heart and infectious smile.
