MOWATA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata, LA for Mr. Leroy Preston Leger, 75, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Landmark of Rayne in Rayne, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Leger’s memories are being cherished by his sister, Anne Belle Francis of Sugarland, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Orelia Beverly Leger and two sisters, Mary Boutte and Octavia Andrus.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
