William David Duncan

08/10/1968 - 01/25/2025

William “David” Duncan entered the world on August 10, 1968. He exchanged this earthly realm for his heavenly home on January 25, 2025. He was born at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup, Georgia, to the parentage of the late Mr. William Thomas Duncan and Mrs. Clara Ann Duncan of Daytona Beach, FL.

He was educated in the Clayton County Public School System, GA. After earning a diploma from North Clayton High School, David matriculated at Clayton Junior College, Morrow, Georgia. In 1988, he earned a degree in Drafting Engineering.

David enjoyed architectural design and strove for excellence. He worked as a full-time architect for Mr. Sidney Haynes of SDH Design Solutions, from 2005 to 2012. He continued to do contractual work for them from 2012-2025, totaling over 20 years with the company. David continued his love of the craft at Andrews Hammock & Powell in Macon, Georgia. He worked for AH&P up until his death, a total of 13 years. David also exhibited his entrepreneurial spirit by performing contracted projects under his independent business name, “WD Duncan Designs”.

David Duncan wrote two books; "Eschatology and the Parables of Jesus" and "God's Covenant Journey"

At an early age, David began his walk with the Lord, at Northside Baptist Church of Darrien, Georgia. He began walking in his divine calling, January 20, 2013, when he was ordained into the ministry at Mt. Sinai Fellowship Church under Pastor Dale Smith.

In 2007, David met the love of his life, Lenora Renee McKenzie, on YahooPersonal.com Three months following their initial meeting, on February 4, 2008, David asked her to be his lawfully wedded wife. Officiated by Pastor Dale Smith, on May 3, 2008, they were joined in holy matrimony at Mt. Sinai Fellowship Church. Until his departure, they shared many years of wedded bliss with their blended family of two children and seven grandchildren.

His memory lives on through the cherished memories of: beloved wife, Lenora Renee Duncan; beloved mother, Clara Ann Duncan; brother, Dennis (Deborah) Duncan; sister, Kay (Damon) Bohan; son, Kevin (Kaitelynn) Duncan; daughter, Shemika (Adrian) Holston; grandchildren, Adrian Jr, Zy’Kira, Ge’Rayh, Jalaila, Nayomi, Aye’Din, and Konor; a devoted mother-in-law, Jill Pleasant and Aunt, Jacquelyn Smith; a host of loving family, friends, colleagues and associates.
