Warner Robins, GA – Ashley Deron Mcintee, beloved son, brother, fiancé, and friend, passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 33. Born on June 18, 1991, in Warner Robins, Georgia, Ashley’s life was a shining example of joy, determination, and a boundless spirit.
A proud graduate of Northside High School, class of 2009, Ashley was not only an academic achiever but also a talented athlete. He was a key player for Northside High School back-to-back 2007 and 2008 State Football Championships, leaving an indelible mark on the field and in the hearts of his teammates and fans. His love for sports was only matched by his passion for fashion, music, dancing, and rapping. Ashley’s creative energy flowed in all aspects of his life, from the way he expressed himself through his art to the way he made everyone around him feel valued and inspired.
Ashley continued to pursue his dreams of excellence, at Fort Valley State University, Missouri Valley College and finally earning his degree from Georgia Military College. He was also a proud member of the Sigma Nu Beta Gamma Chapter. He went on to be a part of the U.S. Army Officer Commissioning Program at Mercer University, where he furthered his commitment to serving others with honor and distinction.
He was also a member of Warner Robins CME Church, Ashley’s faith was a cornerstone of his life, and his kindness and compassion extended to everyone he met. He was intelligent, funny, athletic, charismatic, and above all, a loyal friend. His smile and infectious laugh could light up any room, and his ability to make others feel special was one of his many gifts.
Ashley is survived by his grandmother, Dorothy Mathis mother, Waymona Mcintee; his father, Dion Johnson; his fiancé, Cory Schell; his siblings: Treshon Jenkins, Asia Jenkins, Isabella Seigel, Rakeem Williams, Hunter Mcintee, and Tristan Mcintee; and many dear friends who became like brothers over the years: Jake Hickey, Duriel Weldon, and Nick Huitt.
Ashley’s light may have dimmed on this Earth, but his love, laughter, and the mark he left on this world will continue to shine brightly.
