Mrs. Valerie Jones peacefully entered her eternal rest on Friday, January 17, 2025.Val “Black Pearl” was born February 2, 1968 to the late Mr. Albert Miller and the late Mrs. Dorothy Lee Clowney Watson. Bonus Father Frederick Watson.

Valerie attended Spartanburg High School.

She leaves to cherish her memory:her husband, George Jones; three daughters: Ariel Norris, Randi (Brandon) Meadors, and Angela Roseburgh; five grandchildren: Ayla Bogan, Jacaden Bogan, Amani Norris, Storie Meadors, and Skylar Meadors; seven brothers: Randy (Brigette) Miller, James (Mary) Miller, Albert (Tammy) Clowney, Marvin Clowney, Terry Clowney, Rodney Clowney, and Fred (Tina) Clowney, all of Spartanburg; four sisters: Debra Hill, Gloria (James) Miller, Sylvia (Timothy) Jordan, and Dot Mitchell; one aunt, Melinda Geter; one uncle, Warren Clowney; and countless cousins, whom she loved dearly.
