The funeral services for the late Mrs. Regina Yvette Laster, who departed this life on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Ashburn, Georgia. Pastor Forrest Dickey, St. Paul AME Church, Macon, GA, will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Westview Memorial Cemetery, Ashburn, Georgia. A TIME TO BE BORN: Mrs. Regina Yvette Cross Laster was born on November 11, 1960 in Ashburn, Georgia to the late Ms. Louise Cross and the late Mr. Hart Hall.

A TIME TO PLANT: The vines of her life were rooted in the soil of Turner County, Georgia, where she grew up being reared and nurtured in a Christian home. Regina was educated in the Turner County Public School System. She began her Christian journey by accepting Christ as her personal Saviour at an early age. In her later years, Regina joined the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

A TIME TO DIE: On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at her home, Reginal quietly slipped away from this earthly sphere to away her transition to a final spitirual home, awaiting Resurrection.

A TIME TO CHERISH: Regina was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an inspiration to many. Sweet and loving memories of Regina Yvette Cross Laster will be cherished by her loving husband, Rickey Laster; her daughter, Tiffany Cross; her sons, Brandon Cross, Ladarrious Byrd, her stepdaughters, Natasha (Rod) Hughes, Lakeeshia Graddic; grandchildren, Lylah, Brantley, Jaycee, Lariah, Ladarrious, Jr., Damedric, Tadric, Tyrre, Roderick, Jr., Broderick; five great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Dean Crews, Jacquelyn (Freddie) Rainey, Natalie (Lawrence) Walker; brother, Bobby Cross; godsister, Dehavlyn Ellington; mother-in-law, Mary Giles; father-in-law, James Laster, brothers-in-law, Al (Julia) Laster, Johnny Laster, Kelvin (Carol) Giles, Darryl Giles, Darryl Laster, Forrest (Lydia) Dickey, Joseph Samuel, Lamar Richardson, Willie (Stephanie) Richardson, Raymond McCoy, Willie McCoy, Joseph McCoy; sisters-in-law, Tracey (Anthony) Gipson; Minnie (James) Curry, Dawn Laster, Crystal Giles; special friends, Jacqueline Daniels, Lynn Burgess, Lillie Key, and “ The Divas”; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
