Cora Johnson Nickens, 78, of Richmond, died January 8, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Nickens. Surviving are her daughter, Tanya Johnson; son, Ra W. Johnson; five grandchildren, devoted Dante Johnson, thirteen great grandchildren, three sisters, Mary Williams, Dorothy Archie and Christine Mack (Asa); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Friday, January 17 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18 at Providence Park Baptist Church, 468 E. Ladies Mile Road. Dr. Jerome Ross, officiating. Interment private.
