Carrie Mae Peterson, 85, widower of Ernest Peterson died Friday, December 27, 2024 at McLeod Health Clarendon, Manning, SC. She was born September 17, 1939 in Summerton, SC. A daughter of the late Vernon and Bertha Starks Thames.

Public viewing will be held 2:00PM til 6:00PM Friday, January 10, 2025 at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St. Manning, SC.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Ivory Cemetery, Manning, SC.

The family will be receiving friends beginning Thursday, January 2, 2025 12:00PM til 6:00PM daily at the home of her daughter, Ms. Toniette Eatman, 1120 Chewning Rd., Pinewood, SC.
