Obituary For Mr. Donald Ervin Trice

Mr. Donald Ervin Trice was born on May 25, l954, to the late Mrs. Mattie Child and the late Mr. Homer Trice in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. He was educated in the public school of Thomaston and

attended Drake High School. At an early age, he joined the Macedonia Baptist Church.

Donald entered the military and served in the United States Army. He also served in the Army National Guard. He retired from the National Guard in l983. After the military, he found employment at Thomaston Mills until it closed.

During his leisure time, he enjoyed gardening, watching football and baseball, grilling, joking around with his family, shopping for the latest fashions and playing his lotto.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Trice. On Saturday, December 21, 2024, the Lord called his name. He answered the call and went home to rest. He will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his Life-Partner, Ms. Marilyn Lyons of Thomaston, GA; one daughter, Mrs. Shakeira (Tocarro) Green of Thomaston, GA; two sisters: Ms. Marcia Walker of Thomaston, GA and Mrs. Leslie (Nathaniel) Wells of Forest Park, GA; three brothers: Mr. Phillip Trice and Mr. Gregory Trice both of Thomaston, GA and Mr. Ray Walker of Atlanta, GA; one aunt, Mrs. Annie Liza Mahone of Thomaston, GA; a cousin, who was more like a son he raised, Mr. Arriston Worthy of Locust Grove, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
