His service is 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 14, 2025 at St. John M. B. Church 4436 Core Point Rd. Blounts Creek, NC.

Interment will follow at the Johnny D. Moore Family Cemetery, Blounts Creek.

He is survived by his son, Burgess T. Moore (Amanda) Blounts Creek, NC; daughter, Paulette Murphy (Charlie) Ernul; one brother, Steve Moore, Washington, NC; one sister, Thelma Ebron, Jonesboro, AR; one grandchild, Charlie Murphy Jr. (Nykia).
