MS. SHARRION ANN BOYD, daughter of the late William Henderson Boyd, Sr. and the late Julia Spruell Boyd was born May 31, 1953 in Palmer Springs, VA and departed this life November 22, 2024 in United Medical Center, Washington, DC. She was also preceded in death by her daughter- Candice Ann Carter and her siblings- Carrie Hailey and William P. Boyd.

At an early age she was baptized at Penuel RZUA Church. She attended the Mecklenburg County Public Schools. She later moved to the Washington, DC area for employment. She was employed by B & B Consultant Security Service for many years until her heath began to fail.

Sharrion loved her brothers dearly. She will be missed by- Mannie F. Boyd of the home in Washinton, DC; Willie (Trinia) Boyd of Boydton, VA; John (Connie) Boyd of Norlina, NC; William Boyd of Hyattsville, MD and James Boyd of Norlina, NC; one aunt- Lucy Palmer of Hillsborough, NC; special nephew- Jaunyae’ Boyd, her “pooh baby”; three special nieces-Lisa Chavis, Wanda Jones, and Janet Boyd; great niece- Deasia Eaton, her angel (name given by her mother Lorraine); great nephew- Quatravious Eaton, “her fat man”; along with other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

To know Sharrion was to love her. She sometimes talked like she was tough but in reality she was a generous and loving woman. She loved her family and loved talking about them. She was a gift in my life for the few years that I knew her. Peace to her family from Bev Brown.
