Matthew Robinson, Jr.

Passed 11/20/2024

MATTHEW L. ROBINSON, JR., son of the late Matthew Leroy Robinson, Sr. and the late Lucy Elizabeth Wells, was born at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

He received his education in the New York Public School System, attending Elementary School at PS 194, Middle School at IS 175 and Chelsea High School.

During his working career he was employed by New York City Morgue as a transporter and at Footlocker in Harrisburg, PA at the warehouse and as an associate and Houck Services for 21 years as a roofer.

“Ted” or “Black”, as he was lovingly called by many, was the life of the party. He loved to crack jokes, dance and make you smile. He loved old-school rap music. Ted had a passion for football and he really loved to watch his son Tu’Ron play football. Ted was very charismatic, energetic, funny yet humble. When in his presence he would always drop a jewel on you and make you laugh. It was always a good time and experience with him. To know Ted was to love Ted because he was kind, warm, loving, honest and respectful. His everyday routine was first speaking with his sisters while having his early morning coffee. He adored his family especially his nieces and nephews. He loved to hug and talk trash to the kids and Boonie. His way of loving on us all was through laughter. Family is all we got he’d say. Love is Love! You Already!!!
