Obituary For Rhonda Lynn Ford

Rhonda Duncan Ford 73 of Nocona, TX, walked into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, November 15th, 2024.


Graveside services will be Thursday November 21, 2024, at 12:00 at the Joy Cemetery with Bro. Rex Cobb officiating. Address to Joy Cemetery 8830 Old Joy Shannon Rd, Henrietta, TX 76365.


Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 20th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, TX.


Rhonda was born on August 15, 1951, to J.M. and June Duncan in Amarillo, TX. She attended Vernon Regional Junior College obtaining her nursing license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked for many years at nursing homes around Bowie with Ann Darland. In the 90’s she went to work for Dr. Len Dingler (to keep him in line she said) in Nocona, TX and even tried out the Nocona General Hospital for a while. Nursing was her calling.


She married Bobby Ford on August 10, 1979, and they went on to blend their families, Kenneth, Teresa, David, Clarissa and Amie.


She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, all arts and crafts but most of all she loved her grandbabies and God. They lit up her world.


She is preceded in death by her parents, J.M Duncan and June Duncan, her husband of 41 years, Bobby Lee Ford, sister Gail Schenk, newborn son, Floyd Alan Ford and daughter, Teresa Quillen.


Rhonda is survived by children, Kenneth Ford and wife Tracey, David Ford and wife Holly, Clarissa Fletcher and husband Norm, and Amie Mankhambira and husband Duncan; son-in-law, James Quillen; grandchildren, Mitchell Ford and wife Brandy, Ashley Autry and husband Brandon, Kendra Jones and Husband Tom, Dewayne Quillen, Elizabeth Harrison and husband Tyler, Laura Ford, Dylan Ford, Tyler Booker and wife Erica, Kaitlyn Garibay and husband Randy, Kyra Edelmon and husband John, Kalynn Beltran, Camden Beltran, Jaden Beltran and Brenden Beltran; sisters Jamie Baack and husband Mike, Mica Duncan Thomas and Sharla Gallion; along with many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Wanda Uncel.
