On November 13, 2024, while surrounded by love and family in Tampa, FL. Jacqueline Williams Maddox was called home and gained her wings, leaving a legacy of love and light.
Born on April 5, 1960 in Clewiston, FL. Jacqueline, also known as Jike/Jack, was the beloved daughter of Pecola Hart Williams of Bloomington, IL and Moses Williams Sr. of Clewiston, FL. She was raised by her grandparents the late Inez Bussey Hart and Brady Hart Sr. of Clewiston, FL. Jack was the oldest of her siblings: Dwayne E. Brown (Priscilla) of Clewiston, FL, Queenie Williams of Clewiston, FL, Eleanor Singleton of Springfield, IL, Moses Williams Jr. of Baltimore, MD, Carlowe Wilson of Lombard, IL , Pecola Wilson of Bloomington, IL, and Lakeishia Jenkins of Maywood, IL.
Jack was a kind and compassionate individual, known for her selfless nature and a heart full of generosity.
She married the late Edward “Hatman” Maddox Sr. in 1996 and together they shared many years of love, laughter and adventure.
Jacquline graduated from Clewiston High School in 1978. She loved to play flag football, running track and was one the best runners.
Jacqueline was a food service cook at Glades Correctional in Moore Haven, FL, and Hendry Regional Hospital in Clewiston, FL where she retired from both. She later shared her talents and beautiful smile at the Hampton Inn here in Clewiston and Tallahassee Airport gift shop.
Jacqueline loved her family. She always took time to love on all of them. She loved collecting and taking family photos and displaying them all over her house.
Jacqueline was a faithful attendant of the online ministry of Mt Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dwayne E. Brown until she went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Jack’s warmth, love and light will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will forever remain in our hearts.
