Alvera Browder, 57, passed on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service for Mrs. Alvera Browder will be held 2:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church, 258 Blanding Rd, Hatchuchubee, AL with Rev. Arron Miller, pastor, officiating, and Pastor Pryce J. Battle, eulogist. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, November 22, 2024 from 1-5 p.m. EST.

Mrs. Alvera Browder was born July 16, 1967 in Russell County to Ethel Lee Hampton and the late Katie Hampton.

She joined the Friendship Baptist Church at an early age and was a member of the usher’s ministry until her health declined. She was 1985 graduate of Chavala High School. On March 2, 2000 she was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life Jesse Browder.She made her transition from her earthly home to her eternal living on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Katie Hampton; uncles Jacob and Eddie Walton; and brother-in-law Kenneth James.

Alvera leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Jesse Browder; two sons, Damien Hampton and Jeremiah (Elizabeth) Browder, five grandchildren; Kristian Hampton, Karter Hampton, DeAnna Browder, Kyree Browder and Kyser Browder; father, Ethel Lee Hampton; brother, Hearker (Connie) Hampton; sister, Gladys James; two uncles, Joesph (Mary) Walton and Elijah Walton; four aunts, Mary Hampton, Katie Averett, Minnie Walton, and Rowena Walton; six sister-in-laws, Evelyn Clay; Geneva Upshaw, Mary Browder, Shirley Browder Battle, Julia Wilson and Patricia Scott; two brother-in-laws, Willie Browder and Harvey Browder; two nieces, Shuntavia N. James and Hellena Hampton and other relatives and friends.
