Ms. Jasmine Faye Warren was born October 27,1955 in High Point, NC, to the late Robert and Virginia (Warren) Alexander. She departed this earthly walk of life on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at her home.

Jasmine, more affectionally known as “Jazz” was a jazz enthusiast. She was the founder of the “John Coltrane” jazz club in High Point. She was a 1974 graduate of T. Wingate Andrews High School and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from High Point University in 1988.

Jasmine was a devoted daughter and mother. In 1980, Jasmine became a beloved mother to her only child, Jarian Ferrone Warren. She was her mother’s full-time caretaker and cared for her until she took her last breath. She was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren; they brought her so much joy. Football games, basketball games and dance recitals, Jasmine was always in attendance.

Jasmine was preceded in death by her father, Robert Alexander; mother, Virginia M. Alexander; seven aunts, Mildred Jenkins, Maxine Ingram, Betty Black, Connie Miller, Flossie J. Mebane, Johnnie Mae Alexander, Patricia Joyner; Gladys L. Watson; seven uncles, George Alexander, Monroe Mebane, Richard Joyner, Ray Joyner, Lester Alexander, Arthur Alexander, Hulit Bullock, William Watson; first cousin, Greg Mebane; two grand cousins, James Gates Jr., and Ashley Alexander.

Jasmine leaves to cherish her legacy one son; Jarian (LaShonda) Warren of Greensboro, NC; three grandchildren, Cameron Jamal Warren; Christian Juelle Warren and Londyn Briana Warren of Greensboro, NC; one brother, Paul T. (Lincene) Alexander of High Point, NC; one sister, Beverly Williams Columbus, OH; 3 nieces, Dana (Anthony) Little, Katrina (Robert) Dockery, Yolonda Mason; nephew, Adrian T. Alexander; two aunts, Joyce Frazier, Gloria Alexander; two uncles, Leslie (Tina) Joyner, John (Shirley) Joyner; a special first cousin, Gayle D. (Morris); grand cousin, Morris W. Randall, III. and a host of truly special relatives and close cherished friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Word of Life Tabernacle Church, 1801 Deep River Road. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
