My deepest condolences to Kathy and family. I met Mr. Cooper in April, 2023 when my brother became his roommate at the nursing home. Although, I'd only known Mr. Cooper for a short time, we became like family. My husband and I would meet Kathy and her mom at the nursing home and we would laugh and talk like one big happy family. They seemed to enjoy those times and so did we. Mr. Cooper was still doing his missionary work. When my brother could no longer talk, Mr. Cooper would inform me of how he was doing and what had happened since my last visit. My brother passed on October 7 and Mr. Cooper followed shortly thereafter. I went back to visit Mr. Cooper twice since my brother passed. He had become much weaker. Mr. Cooper was the last friend that my brother made before God called him home (together again). I miss you both dearly. Whenever I go back to the nursing home, I will peep into that room and remember the good times. Rest well sir. Job well done!

Uncle June, I know you are going to a better place but this one took me by surprise. No more pain and no more suffering. I am so grateful to have had you for my uncle. I didn't want you to go but God has bigger plans for you. You fired me so many times, but you always took me back. I am glad you thought of me as one of your daughters. You will always have a special place in my heart. I know you say don't cry for you, so when you see my tears know that they are tears of joy and sadness. I don't have to say what I did for you because you already know and if I had to do it all over again I would do it with a smile. I will forever love you. Continue to watch over me and your sister. You will be missed. Gone but never forgotten. Love You Always your niece. Kathy Battle
